Dune Pieta, inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune

Here's a new piece entitled "Dune Pieta" for the Visions of Arrakis art show. I am a big Dune fan so I was excited to participate in the show. The books are amazing and the audiobook/dramatization is incredible as well (and great to paint to).

The walls of Bergeron’s Books in Oakland will be full of art inspired by the Sci-Fi Worlds of Frank Herbert's Dune. The opening is December 5, 2014 from 7 – 10pm.

Happy Hellboy Day!

It's March 22nd, Hellboy Day!  20 years ago today Mike Mignola's Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1 was published  by Dark Horse Comics, and I've been a dedicated fan for most of those years.  It's always hard to show gratitude to our favorite creators, but thank you Mr. Mignola, for making our world more awesome, and thank you Dark Horse for making it possible.

I will be participating in the MINTcondition exhibition at Ltd. Art Gallery in Seattle, in conjunction with Emerald City ComiCon.  The art show opens on Friday March 28 at 7:00PM (right after the first day of Emerald City ComiCon), and runs through April 26

I've also made a making-of video for your viewing pleasure...
