Phoenix ComiCon - New Pieces and Commissions

I'll admit, I didn't think I would find much of interest in Phoenix.  Typical Californian snobbery I suppose.  To my fortunate surprise, Phx is rad.  Excellent people and many new friends, great art scene, and while I didn't see much of the midday inferno, the warm nights were incredible.  I'm definitely looking forward to next year.  I sold several originals, here's a couple I completed there, both sold to show-goers, thanks gentlemen.

They started out being in love, and it was going to be called "heart of a robot vs. monster love".  The relationship became awkward though, eventually turning them into dubious compatriots in a daring escape attempt.  They are mortal enemies of course, and any tenuous accord they have is ephemeral at best.
