Call me gullible, but despite what Steven Hawking says I believe we've been visited by aliens. Belief may be too strong a word actually. Is there a word for "so freaked out by the possibility of that you refuse to rule out"? I watched Communion when I was 10 and could never get that image of the little grey peeking out from behind the bureau. Shy but invasive. I think it’s the idea of a powerful force that can’t be reasoned with or effectively fought. Motivations unknown and unknowable. You never know though, maybe nobody’s ever asked.
